Rep Program
Rep Program
Rep baseball in Ontario is governed by Baseball Ontario and their rules and regulations can be found at their web site http://www.baseballontario.com/.
The Aurora King Jays Rep program consists of teams that represent The Town of Aurora and the Township of King and play in highly competitive games against teams in the York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA) as well as Inter-Lock games with the Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) and the Eastern Ontario Baseball Association (EOBA).
The YSBA has a very informative web site which also provides the schedules of all regular season games played by YSBA teams including the Aurora King Jays. Please check out the YSBA website for more info.

There is a high level of commitment required to play Rep baseball as teams play in league games as well as weekend tournaments. Travel to and from other towns and cities for games and tournaments is a requirement.
Teams play approximately 20 to 24 regular season games against YSBA, TBA and EOBA opponents and will also typically play in 3 to 5 weekend tournaments between the beginning of May and Labour Day Weekend when the Ontario Championships are played in most rep divisions. Some AKBA teams may travel to tournaments in the U.S.A. to enhance their baseball experience.
Tryouts for the Aurora King Jays Rep teams are usually held in the fall. Dates, times and locations will be posted on the AKBA website. Please check back for more details.
