House league Program

House League is a recreational level of baseball for players of all skill levels and experiences. This program allows children 7U and older to play twice a week (typically 1 practice and 1 game) from Victoria Day to the week before Labour Day (Rally Cap plays once a week). Teams will play against other teams within the AKBA's House League division at various diamonds throughout Aurora and King.

The focus at this level is to promote development, sportsmanship, fun, and a greater enjoyment of baseball. Regardless of the standings, all teams will qualify for playoffs at the end of the season.

Upon special request or due to special circumstances, players may be assigned to divisions outside their age group if deemed necessary to fulfil the requirements of a full roster, upon approval of the VP of House League. Any player wishing to play out of their own age group must submit a formal request in writing to the VP of House League for review and consideration.

As part of the registration fee, players will be assigned to a team and the AKBA will provide a team uniform which consists of a shirt/jersey and cap. Players are required to wear grey baseball pants.
