Well Attended AGM Sees New Volunteers Elected to the Board

On December 5th, 2022, the AKBA held it’s AGM.  The meeting was attended by over 30 members, making it one of the most well attended meetings in recent years.

Four of the seven Board positions were up for nomination, with two incumbents and four new nominees running for the posts.  After a very close vote, newcomers Aziza Amiti, Tammy Orlando and Joel Malley joined returning director Kyle McKay in filling the Board positions for a two-year term.

Thank you to all of the members who turned out to vote.  The league is stronger when members take an active role.  Please consider volunteering for some of the positions posted on our website here.

The AKBA would also like to sincerely thank Jordan Keon, Melissa Randall and Alex Gellos, for all of their contributions to the AKBA and to the Board in recent years.  The association couldn’t have run as smoothly without all of your help and hard work behind the scenes.
